Brewer’s yeast

Brewer’s yeast (also ale yeast, baker’s yeast) is a type of ‚top-fermenting‘, budding yeast (‚budding‘ describing the mode of growth). ‚Saccaromyces‘ is a greek word meaning ‚sugar fungus‘. Yeasts are chemoorganotrophs, i.e. they use organic compounds (mostly carbohydrates) as a source of energy and do not require sunlight to grow. The cells of Saccaromyces cerevisiae are round or oval in shape and measure 5-10µm (micrometre, or 10-6meter) in diameter.

Brewer’s yeast is rich in vitamin B which is beneficial for skin, nails and hair. It is used in treatment of boils and acne. In addition, it has blood cleansing properties. For treatment of recurring fatigue, it is also suited to revitalize the body. Consumption of capsules is recommended (no smell).

Take 2-4 capsules twice daily, with plenty of water.
